TwinArc Inc. is the result of a merger of Rameis, Inc. and Martin Rivers & Associates in 2001.

Rameis Technical Services was founded in 1986 to provide medical and scientific software services.  In 1998, it was incorporated as Rameis, Inc.  Martin Rivers & Associates, founded in 1994, served academic and hospital institutions as a resource for scientific and database development services.

Following numerous cooperative ventures, the companies combined to better serve their common clients and optimize the use of their resources.
