Software Developers (Microsoft Visual C++)
TwinArc has two sub-contracting opportunities available immediately.
These opportunities are for individuals who will contribute to a team participating in development,
design, documentation, coding and testing software components. The sub-contractors require skills to plan,
develop, and implement programming assignments in Microsoft Visual C++.
This includes experience in application design and testing, systems and project documentation.
Sub-contractors will be expected to work off-site using their own facilities,
however in-person meetings will be required on a frequent basis, and the candidates must live in the Ottawa area.
Candidate sub-contractors must have experience with the following:
- Object Oriented Programming
- Microsoft Windows programming and MFC
- GUI design and implementation
The two sub-contracting opportunities require proficiency in one or more of the following:
- DirectX (specifically, DirectDraw)
- Software control of video hardware and display devices
- Digital Image processing in a real-time environment
Although not required, experience in the following is desirable:
- Graphics and file formats
- Direct3D and/or OpenGL
- Software versioning control
Qualifications:
- Formal training in computer programming, or at least 3 years of related work experience
- Must be able to work independently and in a team
